About the university

How to apply

You can apply to participate in the competition till 16 June 2022 (inclusive) if you follow the link.
You need to attach a scan of the first page of your foreign passport to your application.

First to third-year undergraduate students studying GermanChinese (as their second foreign language) within their study programme in MSSES are eligible to participate in the competition for the reimbursement of tuition expenses for the programme. If all the competition requirements are met, all the participants may count on the reimbursement. (Please keep in mind that we will return the sum you paid for the course with the deduction of a 13% tax)

The competition will be held among the attendees of the language course who have successfully completed it and received the Participant Certificate and its transcript. The competition will take place in the autumn of 20221. We will be taking the results of the summer exam session into account.

Conditions for the competitive selection

When the competition is announced, first to third-year undergraduate students will have the opportunity to apply for participation if they comply with the following conditions:
  • “good” and “excellent” marks for the summer exam session
  • no academic arrears and retakings
  • no tuition arrears
  • scanned copy of the Participant Certificate and a full review of the participation with the attachment of media materials (photos/videos) till 15 September 2022.


The decision regarding the results of the competition will be made by an independent commission that will be held in the autumn of 2022. Precise dates of the Commission will be announced in the summer. The results of the competitive selection will be sent out to the applicants’ emails and published on the MSSES website in the news section.

The list of documents that need to be provided for participating in the competition for the reimbursement of expenses – August-September 2022 (attach to the application in a rar or zip archive):
  • Progress report confirming the absence of arrears and exam retakings (issued in the dean’s office within 5 working days in Russian)
  • Scanned copy of the Certificate of course completion and a scanned copy of the transcript
  • Review of the participation


Competition participants who meet all the criteria will be reimbursed for the tuition expenses in the form of purposive material support. We will return you the sum you paid for the course (with the deduction of a 13% tax).
